Just the same, I discovered that our 1st anniversary weekend is the same as Beaufort's 300th Birthday. We'll be there for both the anniversary and birthday celebrations.

Crochet Goddess, we're going down to the little village of Beaufort, just beyond Morehead City. It's a smaller spot, mostly locals running everything, not overrun by tourists, and has great spots to relax and dine.
Tom, I agree. It would seem that I'll be sharing a good glass of wine on a porch overlooking shackelford before I'm on my bike again... and I'm perfectly okay with that.
